Roles & Responsibilities

The Position and Description

MOLYWORKS Materials is the global leading manufacturer of sustainable metal powders. We are rapidly expanding our business in the Asia Pacific (“APAC”) region and setting up a manufacturing facility in Singapore. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing the finance and accounting of the Singapore entity. He/she will also support some Human Resources (HR) tasks. Some of the key job responsibilities include:

· Manage the local payroll including payment of salary and CPF contributions, all expense claims for employee reimbursements, payment of health insurance, etc. He/she needs to ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

· Lead the accounting and reporting, suppliers and accounts payable, and revenue and accounts receivable. This includes preparing the monthly and annual consolidated financial reporting, preparing the invoices to customers, making the payment to suppliers and landlords, etc.

· Manage the local banking and payments to ensure compliance and timeliness. This includes reporting and coordinating all the transaction details to external software companies like Sleek and Xero. He/she needs to prepare month-end bank reconciliations for all accounts and ensure sufficient balance to meet forthcoming payments.

· Work with Corporate CFO to integrate Singapore accounts.

· Preparation and submission of GST reporting in Singapore and ensure annual tax compliance.

· Handle annual audits and liaise with auditors.

· Support HR tasks such as employee benefits, talent recruitment, etc.

· Independent, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Fluent in English and the second language of choice.

· Singapore citizen/Singapore PR.
